Rachelle Rose Laundrie, songwriter, lead singer and rhythm guitarist, formerly in Folkswagon, leads the band Rocky Rose into a new and exciting adventure. With a whole new band composed of Drummer and Recording Engineer Steve Comeau formerly of Feet Of Clay, Bass Player Gordon Smith, Guitarist Michael Ivory, Keyboard Player Eddie Muniz, and newest member on Guitar, Violin, Mandolin and Vocals Mark Paffrath a longtime Racine Area Musical Legend formerly of Marvin and the Dogs. A new wave of inspiration has taken over. Rachelle is writing like never before and the band is hanging on with both hands! Writing and performing only original songs since 1991, Rachelle brings 30 years of experience to the recording studio and stage. With influences in Folk, Country, Bluegrass, Rock and Reggae, Rachelle blends the passion of these genres into an original Americana delivery of catchy and timeless originals that are sure to be classics. Pressing her self-titled solo album in 2007 and Folkswagon album, Fresh Fruit, in 2010, she continues to write, record and perform with her new band, Rocky Rose.
